This project is perfectly suited to IMM. A few months ago, a business associate of ours approached us with an odd question: “Can you build my dream car based on the Porsche Icon 1970? And use light weight high-tech materials?”

The car of choice: a Porsche F Model, inspired by Paul Newman who drove this car in the sixties. We respected its looks but wanted to improve its characteristics. There were some challenges in this project: where could we find enough bodies? Who would design the new kit? What are the specs and are they all the same for each kit?

Using all our potential

We don’t know exactly what to expect, but we are confident that we will need all our skills and our complete machine park to bring this to market. The starting point is the design: we invited two well-known, prize-winning designers to give us their vision of where this might lead. Both designers have more than 35 years of experience in the automotive industry. We are curious to see what they come up with.
