One of these projects came directly from Porsche. For the official opening of the Porsche Design and Development Center, IMMStudios was asked to create a unique centerpiece for the event — a giant functional Porsche car key that would symbolically open the new facility.
Turning an idea into a fully functional experience
The assignment sounded simple at first: create an oversized version of the legendary Porsche key. But like many high-end presentation and engineering projects, the challenge quickly became far more complex. The giant key had to be a flawless scaled-up replica, enlarged by approximately 1000%, while maintaining the exact proportions, design language, surface quality, and premium appearance of the original Porsche key. At the same time, the key also needed to function perfectly during the live opening ceremony.
IMMStudios engineered the complete project from concept to execution, combining CAD development, CNC milling, engineering, electronics integration, sanding, surface finishing, and premium paint solutions into one seamless workflow.
